WASC Adult Education

Students can qualify to participate if they have been permanent residents of the United States for 5 or more years or have been married to a U.S. Citizen for at least 3 years.
Applicants for U.S. citizenship who are 50 years of age or older and have been lawful permanent residents for 20 years, or who are 55 years of age or older and have been permanent residents for 15 years, are exempt from the English examination and may take the examination in their native language at the Office of Immigration and Naturalization. Citizenship application assistance is available in class. Citizenship and Citizenship/ESL classes are offered at different times and days.

 

Los estudiantes pueden calificar para participar si han sido residents permanentes de los Estados Unidos por lo menos 5 años o 3 años si estan casadoscon un ciudadano de los Estados Unidos. Solicitantes para ciudadanía mayores de 50 años de edad que han sido residentes permanentes legales por 20 años o que tienen 55 años de edad y han sido residentes permanentes legales por 15 años son excluidos de tomar la examinacíon en Inglés. Pueden tomarla en su propio idioma en la Oficina de Inmigración y Naturalización en diferentes horarios y días.
