Citizenship Information
Students can qualify to participate if they have been permanent residents of the United States for 5 or more years or have been married to a U.S. Citizen for at least 3 years.
Applicants for U.S. citizenship who are 50 years of age or older and have been lawful permanent residents for 20 years, or who are 55 years of age or older and have been permanent residents for 15 years, are exempt from the English examination and may take the examination in their native language at the Office of Immigration and Naturalization. Citizenship application assistance is available in class. Citizenship and Citizenship/ESL classes are offered at different times and days.
